In the academic year 2005-2006, the NRHH Executive Board and General Assembly voted to name NYU’s chapter The Torch Chapter of NRHH at NYU. This group worked diligently to lead the chapter through its first year as an organization. Through active general assembly meetings, service projects, the OTM process, and campus-wide recognition events, the Torch Chapter saw much growth and progress. In the spring of 2006, 45 new members were inducted.
